Frostline is a private journal for ice anglers. This page explains what data the app stores, what it does not collect, and how to remove information you've saved.
Frostline does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or account of any kind. There is no sign-up flow, no profile, and no social login.
Everything you log inside Frostline is stored in a local database file on your phone:
You can clear every catch from the Preferences screen using the Clear catch log action. Uninstalling Frostline removes all stored data automatically.
On launch Frostline contacts our server at hardwater-co.com to check for current content updates and configuration. No personal data is included in this request. Standard transport metadata (IP address, time of request, device class) may be logged briefly for service monitoring.
Map tiles are fetched from OpenStreetMap when you open the Map screen. OpenStreetMap may log standard request metadata; see their privacy policy at openstreetmap.org.
Frostline never requests location services, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or storage outside of its own private sandbox.
Frostline does not embed any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. No data is sold or shared with marketers.
Frostline is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe data has been collected in error, please contact us so we can address it.
If this policy is updated, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of Frostline after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
